Drifting Towards an Unparalleled Catastrophe..........

When Einstein issued the statement above in 1948 there was only one country with nuclear weapons the US.  Today there are nine countries with advanced nuclear weapons. Today there are also twenty four countries that have biological, chemical and radiological Weapons of Mass Destruction.

In 1948 there were no terrorist organizations wreaking havoc all over the world. Russia, China and the US have developed Hypersonic Weapons of Mass Destruction. These weapons travel at 8 times the speed of sound and cannot be detected. There are also Electro-Magnetic Pulse Weapons and weaponized drones in use now!

Since 1948 many conflicts have occurred and are still raging.  There are numerous other global challenges such as climate warming and cyber-warfare. Another factor is having the bulk of humanity functioning daily in denial. In the last 100 years denial and inaction was present in many tragic circumstances. Ex. The Holocaust and German aggression, 911, Pearl Harbor, etc.

The point to this is that Einstein’s prediction was quite right. We are most definitely drifting towards an unparalleled catastrophe. Millions of people mostly outside of governments function daily in deep denial of these expanding dangers.

The Global Bottom Line

The fact is that governmenrt officials in continual off and on conflict for decades such as India and Pakistan or North Korea and South Korea or Israel and the Palestinians.

They generally do not recognize with accuracy what it will take to end their conflict. Some may say that when a conflict is ended that they found the answer. Since the conflicts listed above  demonstrate  repeated off and on conflicts for many years proves they have no serious clarity.

Without sufficent clarity, highly effective relating and communicating, counter-productive or dangerous interactions persist with massive loss of lives and security.

Officials who will participate in ontology-based transformational programs that we recommend will be able to prevent or resolve most serious international challenges.

     OIC Foreign Relations Breakthrough Project

The overall purpose of our project is to have a world where the various threats we face can be effectively prevented.

Many officials have their opinions of what needs to be done to resolve their most serious international challenges. However, the fact remains that most challenges persist.

            Regarding Nuclear Armed States

The various anti-nuke organizations serve important functions. They create public awareness of the dangers of nuclear weapons. They work with other NGOs and governments on disarmament and proliferation issues, etc.

However, until governments recognize how to relate effectively towards each other, the fears that motivate officials to pursue nuclear and other Weapons of Mass Destruction will continue to plague our world!

OIC Policies

It is OIC's stated policy not to accept nor pursue financial compensation from any government, multi-lateral institution, non-governmental organization, or consulting company whose programs we recommend in our advocacy. OIC is funded by our members only.

It is also OICs stated policy to avoid taking sides with any government, government policy, government official, or multilateral institution. Taking sides would diminish our credibility and make us part of the problems we seek resolution for.
